Guiding Light Through Darkness
Lighthouse was established to bring hope and healing to children in Israel who have lost parents or siblings in war. Inspired by their courage, we created programs like Lamplighters, where compassionate role models step into their lives, offering guidance, love, and a sense of belonging. These connections foster resilience, helping children rediscover their inner strength and find a path forward through their grief.
Today, Lighthouse is more than just an organization; it is a community dedicated to empowering children to rebuild their lives and inspire others. By uncovering the light within each child, we not only help them heal but also create ripples of hope that extend to families and communities. Together, we are lighting the way toward a brighter, more resilient future.

Our Lamplighters program is built on the principle of mutual transformation, creating a powerful bond between volunteers and the children they support. Volunteers, known as Lamplighters, provide guidance, love, and attention, becoming a source of strength and hope for children navigating the challenges of grief. In turn, the experience deeply impacts the volunteers, fostering personal growth, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose. This unique, two-way relationship restores trust, ignites hope, and empowers both the children and the volunteers to rise above adversity. Together, they create a community of healing and strength, lighting the way toward a brighter future.
